In 2018, with just ₹25,000 and a dream stitched from scratch, The Chikan Label was born out of a tiny workspace in Lucknow — the heartland of authentic chikankari embroidery. What started by Komal and Hardik two passionate people and a handful of artisans has now flourished into a full-fledged in-house team of 30+ dedicated professionals and a powerful artisan network of 5,000+ skilled kaarigars.

Born and brought up in Lucknow, I've been always fascinated towards the Art and Culture of Lucknow the city of Nawabs. The more I came to know about Chikankari the more I loved it and I always wanted to represent this art at a global platform.

Being involved in art and craft since childhood my love for craft turned into passion when I came across the art of Chikankari. Experienced in the field of digital marketing I decided to bring up this art on a global platform.
