Returns, Refunds & Exchanges
At The Chikan Label, we want every purchase to be a satisfying experience. Please review our return, refund and exchange terms below.
Size Exchanges
- We accept eligible size or style exchange requests within 7 days of delivery, subject to product availability.
- Products must be unworn, unused, unwashed, unaltered and undamaged, with original tags and packaging retained.
- A return-shipping charge of ₹200 applies to voluntary exchanges within India. This charge does not apply where we supplied an incorrect or defective product.
- If your requested replacement is unavailable, please contact our support team to discuss available alternatives.
Returns & Refunds
You may request a return and refund if:

You received an incorrect product.

Your product arrived damaged or defective.

You are otherwise entitled to a remedy under applicable consumer-protection law.
Please report these issues within 7 days of delivery wherever possible. This period does not restrict statutory consumer rights.
Refunds are not ordinarily provided for change of mind, personal dislike or an incorrect size selected by the customer. Eligible size exchanges are available under the terms above.
Non-Eligible Voluntary Returns
The following are ordinarily excluded from voluntary returns or exchanges:

Products damaged through customer use.

Used, washed or altered garments.

Sale items, jewellery and accessories.

Minor variations in colour, texture or embroidery consistent with accurate product descriptions and handcrafted characteristics.
These exclusions do not affect your legal rights concerning defective, incorrect or materially misdescribed goods.
How to Request a Return or Exchange

An unboxing video is helpful but not mandatory for a legitimate complaint.
Please contact us before shipping your product. Reverse pickup is subject to location availability. Our team can provide self-shipping instructions when necessary.

For approved returns arising from incorrect, defective or materially misdescribed goods, reasonable return-shipping costs will be arranged or reimbursed as applicable.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed by bank transfer or another available, legally appropriate payment method.
Our standard processing target is within 15 working days after receiving and inspecting the returned product, subject to any shorter period required by applicable law.
We will inform you of the refund status and any required payment details.
Order Cancellation and Changes
Cancellation requests should be submitted within 24 hours of order placement, preferably before dispatch.
For changes to the delivery address, contact number or selected size, contact our support team as soon as possible.
Requests are subject to processing and shipping status. Applicable statutory cancellation and refund rights remain unaffected.
International Orders
Voluntary size exchanges and change-of-mind returns are not ordinarily available for international orders.
If an international customer receives a defective, incorrect or materially misdescribed product, our team will assess an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable consumer-protection laws.
Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy limits rights or remedies available under applicable consumer-protection laws, including India's Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
